MANDY & JAMIE ~ LOVE AT FIRST BLUSH PART 1
{PRE-CEREMONY & CEREMONY}
This is one of my favorite photos from this stunning french vintage wedding at the Westgate Hotel.
I was beyond thrilled when Mandy reached out to me and asked me (Monarch Weddings) to be her wedding coordinator. She is not only absolutely stunning, she has the sweetest personality and such a warm kind spirit. Jamie (Groom) is equally as handsome as she is pretty and too was a total sweetheart. If you spend any amount of time with these two sweet lovebirds, you get the sense that they are kindred spirits from another time or place, soul mates that compliment one another on every level.
When we met and started talking about her design aesthetics, she shared with me that she was inspired by the movie a “Midnight in Paris” and the scenes from the 1920’s in Paris, so it seemed a natural fit for her to select the beautiful Parisian designed Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego. The stunning Versailles Ballroom with it’s gold gilded walls and opulent crystal chandeliers set the stage and was the perfect backdrop for her design theme. Rich luxurious textiles and patterns in soft romantic warm colors complimented her choice of blush, ivory and gold color pallet. She selected the extremely talented San Diego floral designer Karen Tran to create the beautiful floral masterpieces. The Versailles ballroom was the site for the glamorous ceremony and reception. It was a unique setup in-which we had the couple getting married on a white circular custom dancefloor by Platinum Pro that displayed a custom filigree monogram logo design by J Grace Luxury Event Stationery. The guests were seated around the danceflloor all facing the center of the dancefloor where the couple were standing – there was an awesome views from every seat in the ballroom. After the ceremony, the guests were invited to join the cocktail reception in the Westgate Foyer while we worked diligently to flip the room for the reception.
We had a stellar team of professionals behind the scenes working hard to transform Mandy and Jamie’s dream wedding into a reality! I was honored & blessed to have had the opportunity to work with the lovely couple and with such an incredible team of professionals, listed in the “Vendor Love” at the bottom.

These beautiful custom made luxury invitation with lace and feather detail created by J Grace Luxury Event Stationery. No detail went unnoticed at this wedding. Down to the custom made monogram that J Grace made for the couple, which is shown here and on the custom white dance floor.
Love this delicate and detailed flowergirl purse made from real roses adorned with rhinestone brooches and a chiffon skirt. So precious and beautiful!
This beautiful headpiece was originally a belt, Mandy creatively turned it into the perfect bridal head piece.
Love this shot of the bridesmaids blush delicate dresses hanging in the window and the bride got all the girls their own personalized hanger.
Karen Tran did a beautiful job creating these stunning bridal bouquets. Love the rhinestone detail on the handles.

The custom white dance floor (Platinum Pro) with it’s custom designed monogram logo (designed by J Grace) was placed directly underneath a grand opulent crystal chandelier. Perfect place for the focal point for the ceremony site and it will later become the center of the dance party!
Dreamy clusters of beautiful white orchids and buttery ivory roses in these opulent centerpieces with touches of crystals! LOVE!

Lush beautiful florals pieces with roses and orchids lined the ceremony aisles and later were used as centerpieces for the table tops. Love the crystal chandeliers in the Versailles Ballroom at the Westgate Hotel.

I’m in love with this shot ~ An abundance of stunning flowers frames the couple as they stand directly in the center of the room on the custom white round dancefloor underneath a large opulent crystal chandelier while their family and friends looked on to hear them say there “I do’s”… So Dreamy!
Wine Ceremony ~ The couple prepared love notes for one another, which sealed in the box shown here along with the wine. On their anniversary, they will open the box, drink the wine and read their love letters! Love this idea!
