SARAH & JON
Love this photo of Sarah and Jon at Hotel Del Beach after the ceremony, the Bubble Guy of Coronado is creating these awesome large bubbles against the sunset sky, which made for these awesome whimsical images!
Sarah and Jon’s wedding has a special place in my heart… as Jon has been a friend of mine since high-school and Sarah has become a good friend of mine over the last several years of them being together. As you can imagine, I was so honored when Sarah came to me and asked me to me her wedding planner. When I met with Sarah and her Mom, Char, we had such a great time brainstorming on fun ideas to incorporate for the Fall wedding with gray, orange and red themed colors. Sarah loves touches of bling so of course we had to bring in those elements as well. The themed candy station & props for the photo booth were both such fun highlights from the wedding! It was really exciting to see it all of the wedding planning come to life and to see such big smiles on all my friends faces!!! This was one of the funnest weddings I had ever had the pleasure of coordinating or being a part of, as you will see from the photos below. The Grand Entrance photos with the bridal party using props from the photo booth just crack me up!
Bride getting ready, love the personalized hanger “Mrs. Brewer”
Orange and red boutonnieres
Groom and Groomsmen wore gray suits with these cool orange, charcoal gray and light gray argyle socks!
The girls held red and orange bouquets, which looked great against their charcoal bridesmaids dresses
Sarah and Jon’s “First Look” – we staged it so that Jon was standing with his back to Sarah as she walked up and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around to see his beautiful bride!
Note: We stage it this way with his back towards her as she approaches and until she right in front of him so that it’s still a very special moment for Jon to see his lovely bride walk down the aisle towards him. Win…win… for those who want to see one another before the ceremony to get nerves or photos out of the way.
Large bridal party lines up at the church for some pre-ceremony bridal party photos. The guys in their light gray suits and the girls in their charcoal gray dresses looked sharp!
Sarah, our Bride, peaks anxiously through the door!
“I do!” they are now husband and wife! Christ Episcopal Church in Coronado was really pretty. However, it was tricky because they don’t allow photographers to be in the center aisle. They had to be staged in the back of the church.
After the beautiful ceremony, the couple signed their marriage certificate.
Sarah and the bridesmaids got together to make these orange and red pom-pom shakers for a colorful, fun send off from the church… we also added bubbles for these adorable send-off photos.
LOVE! This photo of the couple getting a grand send off by bridal party and guests says it all…woo whoo… we’re married, now it’s time to party!
The Bride and Groom and their bridal party left in limo bus to the Hotel Del beach for some fun after ceremony photos! Of course, they stopped for a celebratory shot!
Fun bridal party photos on the beach in front of the Hotel Del.
There was a beautiful sand castle on the Hotel Del beach, it read “10.6.12 and LOVE YOU” – perfect photo op!
THE RECEPTION – ADMIRAL KIDD CONFERENCE CENTER
The cocktail hour and reception were held at the Admiral Kidd Club in Pt. Loma.
Love this beautiful gray rosette by Concepts Event Design! It added that extra little touch of elegance and texture! We used bling picture frames for the sweetheart table sign, then orange ribbon with a rhinestone buckle on the napkin fold and silver charger (monarch weddings collection).
These custom cocktail napkins were a nice touch! Love the way rosette linen texture photographs!
No only did we have a cake, we had many yummy cupcakes from Sweet D’s.
We pulled the photo booth props for a fun Grand Entrance… everyone was so into it. It was a blast!
More fun props from the photo booth, which made for a playful grand entrance!
Sarah made the photo booth prop of the image of their dog on a stick, so they can incorporate their baby (Rigley) into the wedding somehow!
It’s time to party… the bride and groom come in on their Grand Entrance right into their first dance.
Cutting the cake… they were so sweet to watch cut their cake. Jon gave his new bride a very sweet heartfelt toast right afterwards. So sweet!
We were also serving a specialty cocktail named “Orange Crush” – Jon & apparently Keith Richard’s favorite cocktail! =)
