ANA & REID – PART ONE

With her sweet southern like charm and stunning looks, it’s no wonder Ana won Reid’s heart. Ana grew up in Los Angeles but as fate would have it, she moved out to Dallas where a mutual friend introduced her to Reid. They feel deeply in love for one another and were soon engaged. Two years later they were saying “I do” at Mary, Star of the Sea, a little Catholic chapel in La Jolla, CA.

Mary, Star of the Sea was the chosen location for their romantic ceremony because it had special meaning to Ana and her family, as this is the same church Ana’s two brothers were baptized in many years before. While Ana and Reid were visiting San Diego they visited the Grand Del Mar and feel in love with the regal sophisticated beauty of the grand property and in particular the stunning Capella Chapel at the Grand Del Mar. They decided that this would be the ideal place for them to have their reception… and that it was.

Ana was such a breathtakingly beautiful bride. She wore a stunning two piece Martina Liana Bridal Design wedding dress, cathedral veil and white Christian Louboutin heels. While Reid was handsome and so dapper in his fitted black tuxedo.

This was such a stunning wedding with it’s formal elegance and a romantic warm feel, as you will see by the amazing photos captured by the very talented photographers, The Youngren’s. Not only do Erin and Jeff produce the most excellent quality professional photos, they are such a joy to work with and really make the couples feel at such ease. They truly captured the beauty of the couple’s love and the real essence of this special day.

To add to the dream team we had the fabulously talented floral designer Jennifer Cole Florals, whom I sincerely enjoy collaborating with on design. APR Fine linens & rentals provided the gorgeous dark wood farm tables and X-Back chairs, along with the draping and linens and West Coast Music brought the house down with their amazing performance.

Between the sweet gracious couple, the dream team of vendors and the breathtaking beauty of the Grand Del Mar venue – this was truly a dream wedding for me to be a part of…
